When I I picked up this Fruits of the Harvest Recipes to Celebrate Kwanzaa and Other Holidays cookbook by Eric Copage little did I know how good this book is.
This is such an interesting book. Being of the Caucasian persuasion, I know very little about Kwanzaa. I was fascinated with all the wonderful information shared in these pages.
Besides the fact that it has everything you need to know about Kwanzaa, there’s all the wonderful food and how to celebrate with easy-to-cook traditional flavors. Celebrate a different country of the African diaspora each day by cooking only foods of that country or put together a menu for each night with foods from various lands.
There are lots of great foods from Tanzanian Fruit and Cashew Salad with Rum Cream to Broccoli and Cherry Tomato Saute with Caramelized Onions and West African Ginger Beer.
This is a 1991 hardback book in like New Condition.. Available at Eccentric Thrifter
